So, how does it work? It’s all about first-come, first-served. You’ll need to deposit the first installment of your Hajj dues by next Saturday. Make sure to submit your Hajj application through designated banks or their online portal for ease. If you missed the boat this time but are still interested, fresh applicants can apply from August 11 to 16, assuming seats remain available.
The spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, has emphasized that once all seats are filled, they will immediately stop collecting dues. For those eyeing this spiritual pilgrimage, be prepared to invest between 1.15 million and 1.25 million rupees, which includes the sacrificial offering known as Dam-e-Shukr.
A few changes have been made this year, making it easier for many to participate. Previously enforced restrictions concerning repeat Hajj and upper age limits have been lifted, allowing more people to partake in this enriching experience. However, keep in mind that children born after March 1, 2014, will not be eligible to apply.
