Tragic Bus Accident on M2 Motorway: What We Know
On a recent journey from Rawalpindi to Lahore, a private bus tragically overturned near the Balkasar Interchange on the M2 Motorway, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of at least eight lives and injuries to 18 others. The incident was reportedly caused by a burst tire, which led the driver to lose control of the vehicle during its journey.
Motorway Police quickly responded to the scene, with rescue teams mobilized almost immediately. Thanks to the prompt actions of the emergency responders, those who were injured received on-site treatment, while six emergency vehicles and 25 rescuers transported the affected individuals to DHQ Hospital in Chakwal.
