Celebrating Academic Excellence: BIEK Announces 2025 Exam Results
The results are in! The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) recently announced the outcomes of the 2025 Annual Examinations for the second-year students in Home Economics and Special Candidates (Arts Regular) groups. And guess what? Female students dominated the top positions in both categories, showcasing remarkable talent and hard work.
BIEK Chairman Faqeer Muhammad Lakho officially unveiled the results, and it’s heartening to see students shine brightly. In the Home Economics group, Erum Faisal from Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College achieved the highest score of 1,054 out of 1,200, earning an impressive A-1 grade. Following closely was Imaan Hashmi with 988 marks, and Shanza Nayab rounded off the top three with 980 marks. Talk about an inspiring level of achievement!
The Special Candidates (Arts Regular) group also saw fantastic performances. Syeda Fariha from DEWA Higher Secondary School topped the list with 960 marks, while her classmates Barira Islam and Imaan Al Shams secured the second and third spots, respectively. With a pass rate of 90.35%, it’s clear that hard work pays off!
Examinations Controller Zarina Rashid highlighted the participation rates: 198 candidates registered in Home Economics, with a pass percentage of 59.26%. Meanwhile, the Special Candidates group showed an impressive success rate, with 103 out of the 114 students passing.
