The Mayor also discussed the substantial investments the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is making—Rs28 billion for development projects this year, plus an additional Rs10 billion earmarked for town-level initiatives. He outlined the current large-scale projects, such as the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system on University Road, improvements to sewerage and drainage systems, and the completion of crucial flyovers and underpasses. These efforts align with the broader vision set by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Wahab faced criticism from opposition but stood firm, insisting that his administration’s performance speaks for itself. "Our press conferences are not based on allegations but on results," he stated, reaffirming his commitment to making Karachi a hub of development and prosperity.
