The suspects, identified as Muhammad Khan Bariyo (alias Guloo), Akhtar, Jameen Mullah (alias Jaman), and Ghulam Qadir (alias Akash), are said to have been gathering crucial information for some time. According to intelligence reports, the mastermind of this operation was Muhammad Khan, a resident of Sujawal, who had reportedly been in contact with a Colonel Ranjeet from the Indian Border Security Force’s Camp No. 59 since 2009.

Authorities have indicated that the suspects frequently traveled to India and returned with sensitive data, including photographs of military installations, details of personnel deployed at these sites, and even geo-tagged locations. The findings from their mobile phones further reinforced the seriousness of their actions; the Indian colonel’s contact number was found, and he was referred to as "Boss" in their communications.
What’s more concerning is the presence of geo-tagging software on their devices, coupled with their use of WhatsApp to send pictures and exact locations of strategic installations. Highlighting their level of preparation, a training manual from the Pakistan Army was also recovered during the raid.
