Mysterious Disappearance of Two Sisters Raises Alarms in Local Community

Last weekend, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded near Abdullah Haroon Road, where two sisters, Amna, 15, and Ayesha, 7, seemingly vanished after attending a madrassa. Their father, Muhammad Azeem Akhtar, has filed an FIR at Preedy Police Station, alleging that a teacher from the madrassa, identified as Sultan, is involved in their disappearance.

According to Akhtar’s complaint, the sisters never returned home after their visit to the madrassa. When he inquired about their whereabouts, the madrassa staff first told him they had been dismissed. However, further investigation revealed that Sultan had taken the girls away in his car. This revelation is particularly concerning, as Sultan also teaches at Hyderi Model School, where Amna and Ayesha are enrolled.

Interestingly, Akhtar mentioned that Sultan often insisted on dropping the girls off personally, bypassing the school van, which raises eyebrows about his intentions. He reportedly showered them with expensive gifts, adding another layer of suspicion. Since the day of the disappearance, Sultan’s mobile phone has been switched off, complicating matters further.

The police have initiated an investigation, retrieving CCTV footage from various points around the madrassa and the girls’ residence. However, there’s a twist in the tale; accounts from some students suggest that the elder sister might have had intentions of running away, leading police to consider multiple angles in this distressing case.

This situation serves to remind us of the importance of vigilance and open communication within families, especially concerning children’s safety. Communities must stand together and ensure that schools and educational institutions are safe havens for kids.
